Our Vision
To build a Christ-centered, culturally relevant ministry where people are loved, discipled, and developed, families are strengthened, and communities are transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission
Greater Love Worship Center Church of God in Christ fulfills its vision through biblical teaching, authentic worship, intentional discipleship, mentorship, leadership development, and consistent community engagement.
Â
We demonstrate Christ’s love by welcoming all people, reaching those who feel overlooked or disconnected from the church, meeting tangible needs, and equipping individuals and families to live with faith, purpose, discipline, and influence.
Â
We intentionally invest in children, youth, and young adults, with a deliberate commitment to developing young Black men before crises arise. Through spiritual formation, education, exposure, accountability, and positive relationships, we help them discover their identity in Christ and become leaders in their homes, churches, professions, and communities.

Our Leadership
Founder & Pastor, Greater Love Worship Center Church of God in Christ
PASTOR DR. CARLOS BAGGAGE
Pastor Dr. Carlos Baggage is a preacher, educator, organizational leader, and servant whose ministry is centered on one uncompromising message: Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

Saved and called to ministry at the age of 15, Pastor Baggage has devoted his life to serving God and helping people discover that their lives can be transformed through a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. His heart for ministry extends beyond the pulpit. He believes the Church should be a place where people are loved, disciples are developed, families are strengthened, and communities experience the tangible love of Christ.

That conviction led Pastor Baggage and his wife, Evangelist Tamika Baggage, to establish Greater Love Worship Center Church of God in Christ in 2026. Greater Love was founded with a vision to build a Christ-centered, culturally relevant ministry where people from every background can encounter God, grow spiritually, develop meaningful relationships, and find a place to serve.

Pastor Baggage brings to ministry a unique combination of theological preparation, education, leadership, and organizational development. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education, an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, and a Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a Leadership cognate, with research focused on transformational leadership and employee retention.

His years as an educator and leader have shaped his philosophy of ministry: people matter, development matters, and healthy systems help ministry serve people effectively. He is particularly passionate about developing leaders, strengthening families, mentoring the next generation, investing in young men, and creating opportunities for people who may have felt overlooked or disconnected from the traditional church.
As an ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ, Pastor Baggage remains committed to biblical preaching, fervent prayer, discipleship, evangelism, excellence, and service to the community. He believes Greater Love should not simply be known for what happens inside a sanctuary, but for the measurable difference it makes in the lives of people outside its walls.

Pastor Baggage serves alongside his wife, Evangelist Tamika Baggage, First Lady, who shares his commitment to ministry, education, families, and service.

At the heart of Pastor Baggage’s ministry is a simple conviction: the Gospel still works, people still need Jesus, and there is room for everyone at the feet of the cross.

There’s room for you.
